Ocean-view glamping dome glowing at dusk in the Osa Peninsula rainforest, Costa Rica

The Executive Reset

By invitation · One guest at a time

For founders who can’t hear themselves think.

Five nights, off-grid, one to one, on the Osa Peninsula.

A private reset for the founder who can’t remember the last decision they made rested. Off-grid, guided one to one, with a real decision at the end of it — not another weekend that doesn’t reach.

What this is

One guest. Five nights. A decision that survives the return.

One person — or two co-founders — off-grid on fifty thousand square metres of the Osa Peninsula, guided one to one by David Villanueva.

We make a smaller claim than the wellness industry usually does, and it happens to be true: enough genuine distance to interrupt the pattern, long enough that you can see clearly what needs to change when you go home. It isn’t a spa. It isn’t a course. It isn’t therapy. It’s a reset with a real decision at the end of it.

“I didn’t realise how loud my life was until it stopped.”

Why here

Genuinely off-grid — and genuinely safe.

No signal. Not a policy — a fact.

The reason a weekend in the countryside doesn’t work is that the temptation is still in your pocket. Here it simply isn’t reachable.

Expedition-grade safety

Fifteen years operating in this forest, Wilderness First Responder certified, evacuation planned. The wildness is real; the safety is engineered.

The land

Fifty thousand square metres of forest, river, waterfalls, miradores and ocean view. Solar power and our own water. Yours alone for the week.

The domo & the table

A private ocean-view domo of roughly sixty-three square metres, jacuzzi on the terrace, full board by a private chef. Comfort described by facts.

The five days

A shape, not a schedule.

Each day does one thing. Four to five hours of guided work; the rest yours, in silence or in the forest.

Day one

Arrival & Unload

Empty the noise before anything else. A written inventory of everything you’re carrying — not to solve it, just to set it down.

Day two

Regulate

The body before the mind. Breath, river, cold and warmth in contrast, silence — bringing a system down from alert.

Day three

The Edge

A day in the forest — waterfalls, canyoning, real novelty — chosen to your condition, from a full expedition to a slow morning.

Day four

The Decision

With the system settled, the one conversation that matters — and four hours of silence to sit with what you decide.

Day five

Return

Designing re-entry so the change survives Monday. A concrete plan, and one person who will know.

Thirty days later — a private call. Included. It’s what turns the reset into something that lasts.

We won’t promise you transformation, a cure, or a wildlife sighting. We create the conditions, keep you safe, and stay out of your way.

The food

Cooked to steady you.

Full board, prepared by a private chef. Whole-food and anti-inflammatory, built to keep your energy level through the day and help you sleep at night — lighter dinners, real hydration, coffee kept early and gentle.

Fully adapted to how you eat: plant-based, gluten-free, dairy-free, allergies. Farm-to-table from the Osa where we can. Generous, never restrictive — the food is part of how the reset works.

Honesty first

Who it’s for — and who it isn’t.

This is for you if

You’re a founder, owner-operator or one of two co-founders at a threshold — a decision to make, a pattern to break, or a season of burnout to come back from. You can step away for five days.

This isn’t the right fit if

You need a corporate team offsite, you need to stay reachable, or you’re in active crisis. This is a facilitated reset, not clinical care — if you need clinical support, we’ll say so and help you find it. Every guest completes a short screening first.

Investment

It begins with a conversation.

Because it’s one guest at a time and shaped entirely around you, we don’t sell this from a page. We start with a short call — to make sure it’s the right fit — and share the investment then.

Questions founders ask

Before you reach out.

“I can’t be unreachable for a week.”

If your company genuinely can’t run for five days without you, that’s the signal — not the obstacle. Brief two deputies and set one emergency line before you arrive. Most come back to find the team coped fine.

“What if something happens out there?”

Every activity is run to expedition standard — Wilderness First Responder certified, fifteen years in this forest, evacuation planned. The risk you feel is real; the safety is not improvised.

“Will I actually switch off, or just stew?”

The first two days are the awkward part. By the third, most people describe something loosening. If it doesn’t, you’ve learned how far your work has reached into you — worth knowing too.

How do I get there?

Fly to the Drake Bay airstrip, five minutes away, or arrive overland via Agujitas, twenty minutes out. Your ground transfer is included.
